Hello all,

I will be heading down to KY next week to visit my fiance and we're going to start / finish our paperwork for the K1. On the I-129 form it asks if your fiance is there while filling this out and then wants info from I think the i-94.

Well I"m Canadian and don't need anything like that to enter the US, so if we put yes i am there.... I can't really finish that line of questioning other than when i'm leaving.

Any idea what I should do regarding this?

When you cross with your visa, you will get an I-94. But since you're only visiting right now, you will not have one. They don't care if you're filling the forms out together, they want to know if the beneficiary (you) is currently residing in the US or visiting for a lengthy amount of time. You're not. I don't think it particularly matters what you put. I think I technically filled out the forms while visiting my fiance, but I put no because they were being mailed after I left.

If you are to put yes, you can simply put that you're visiting and were not issued an I-94. If there's room.

How long are you staying? If you're not staying too long, your fiance can mail the package just after you leave so you don't have to answer that question... But if he plan to mail the package when you're still here, well, I don't know much what you can write.

She's not living in the US, only visiting.

Coconuts is correct with "They don't care if you're filling the forms out together, they want to know if the beneficiary (you) is currently residing in the US or visiting for a lengthy amount of time.
