passport not yet received

Hello everyone i just got an email from Embassy that they have send my passport on April 3,2012 via VFS to submit New Medical, But i dint receive it till now it has been a month even i have called vfs but they told me that they dint received my passport from Consulate can anyone help me i am so worried. thanks

I would contact them again. Sometimes the embassy says they sent it but they have not.

I would contact DOS in Washington and ask where is my passport

i have contact DOS but she told me that Embassy has send my passport on 3th april 2012

I'm not following what you are saying. Is this what happened...

The consulate had your passport in their possession.

The consulate then asked for a new medical report and explained that they are sending back your passport so you can have the new medical done.

The consulate and DOS claim the passport was sent out on 3rd April 2012.

VFS claims that between 3rd April 2012 and today, they have never had your passport?????

If this is the case, you need to send a detailed email to VFS and the consulate containing your name, date of birth, your case number, any of your petitioner's information and spell out this exact scenario asking them to revert to you the details of your passport's current location, tracking number if sent via bluedart, or confirmation of delivery as you have not received your passport back in hand.

The sad truth of the matter is that things can get lost, misplaced, or sent to the wrong person. It doesn't happen frequently, but it can happen.

Continue to follow up by email or phone every few days until you get this resolved.

thank u for ur suggestion, My father called Mumbai Consulate for asking about my passport he was told that we received ur case file not ur son's passport n then my father called Chennai Consulate they told him that before 10 days consulate has send the passport but it has got returned becz of wrong Address, So my father told them to hold it at Hyderabad VFS so that i can receive it from there. Thank God Finally i got relive from it.

By the grace of god i received my passport today via VFS and also took Medical Appointment date.
