my fiancee and i are just starting out our I-129f application process

shes from california and im coming from the UK

just awaiting the divorce decree any week now

on the cover letter what is the address for filing? is it the dallas tx? and the filing fee $340?

w'eve filled in all our papers, and are collecting together our proof of relationship

does anyone have any advice with regards to a written "how u met in the last 2 years" section?

or any advice in general

were trying to do this without a lawyer, but when filing her divorce papers she had filed without a lawyer

and shed not completed so we were left 6 months behind, and we wanna make sure we avoid any delays

anyone have a quick checklist and some advice... hopefully we can share xmas this year

Welcome to the forum.

Check out the site's step-by-step K-1 visa guide for more information. The Dallas Lockbox address will be fine.. Check the latest online I-129F instructions for address and fee specifics.

Good luck on your visa journey.

First, study the guides here and instructions for your I-129F. Dallas Lock Box address is fine. You won't know which service center it will be forwarded to until you receive your first notice of action(I-797C). The fee is currently $340 and located on the I-129F instructions. If you don't have enough room to explain your meeting, attach a piece of paper with a short and sweet paragraph or two of how you met including dates and locations. Address the item you are referring to at the top of the paper and include your name. Also, sign and date it. There are many examples of how people did this in the threads here. Welcome and good luck!
