hello, im filling the forms i130/i485/i765 for my wife and i dont know if i am going to need to find someone with a high income for affidavit of support

on my taxes of 2009 and 2010 i was as a dependent and i make around 19 thousand in 2009 and 18 thousand in 2010.

for the 2011 taxes, i fill by myself and my gross income was 16 thousand.

Also, i dont know if it matters but i own 2 cars and i have around 30 thousand in savings.

First of all, you need to use the I-864, and not the I-134 for your affidavit of support.

Are you self-employed? You stated how much you made each year in the past, but how much do you currently earn? You need to earn 125% of the poverty level or higher for your household size: http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/i-864p.pdf

Assets can be used. They need to be 3 times the amount you are short. For example, if you are making $16,000 a year now, but need to have $19,000, then you are short $3,000 and would need at least $9,000 in savings to make up the shortcoming. The $30,000 you have in savings indeed matters and can be helpful for you to qualify without a joint sponsor.
