HELLO,

I AM THE BENEFICIARY OF AN US IMMIGRANT VISA APPLICATION. MY HUSBAND IS THE PETITIONER AND MY AGENT.

WE ARE READY TO SUBMIT THE DS-230 PACKAGE BUT I WONDER IF I CAN SEND IT DIRECTLY TO THE NVC FROM GUATEMALA, OR IF I HAVE TO SEND IT TO MY AGENT AND THEN HE SENDS IT TO THE NVC?

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR HELP.

You, the beneficiary, will send the form to the NVC to let them know who your agent is. If your agent sends it in, it won't seem right. After all, it'll be your signature on the form so you should be sending it. Likewise, when emailing, the beneficiary sends it. This was, they know you have appointed someone as an agent and henceforth, the NVC should communicate with them. I hope this helps!

Priority date: 14th October 2011

NOA 2: 23rd March 2012

Case Complete at NVC: 29th May 2012

Interview schedule for 30th July 2012 > Result: Administrative Processing / Green slip 221(g)

AP ended on 29th August - Passport in hand!!

Thank you princess18, but I am talking about the DS-230, not the DS-3032, I already sent that one. The DS-230 is the immigrant visa package, not the choice of agent. Regards,

Do not think it matters who sends it.

I (USC) sent it from my address.

NVC does not care who send the DS-230 package. If NVC gets the package, they will process your application. Most important thing is: DS-230 part 1 ( page -2) has to be signed by APPLICANT. If you have all required documents for DS-230 package, then you can send it from Guatemala.

If some reason NVC has to contact you in regard of your VISA case, they will contact your Agent in USA.
