All,

ROC here. Filing this week. GC expires 8/5/2012

What do you use to hold all documents + forms?

Do you also attach the check with the package or simply include in the package?

What ink color to use? Blue or black?

Thank you, Leo

The i-751 instructions say to use black ink.

We paper-clipped the check to the i-751 form along with the cover letter and copy of GC.

The other documents are grouped together. by type. Bank statements paper clipped together.. leases together.. insurance.. etc

We tried not to use any staples so they don't get annoyed having to unstaple everything :)

Then everything goes into a manila envelope with "attn: i-751 petition to remove conditions" on it.

Thank you Engineer21. My assembling is similar to yours. Instead of clips, do you think the binder clips are also acceptable?

Best, Leo

We typed up the I-751 form online and printed it. Just like engineer21, we paper clipped the form to the copy of the green card and a table of contents form (that I put together). We also grouped all the documents. Utilities statements, joint financial statements/documents (bank, tax returns, car insurance, pension beneficiary form, life insurance etc.), travel itineraries, copies of letters/cards/wedding invitations/thank you notes from family & friends, copies of pictures--everything was in separate groups.

Oh, and we included the check (we actually used a money order) attached to the I-751 form. :)

Good luck to you. :)

I'm sure binder clips are fine. I would try to use the teeny tiny ones though... those can get bulky if you use multiple ones.
