That has to be very frustrating, especially with it being sooo close to you. Sounds like you have a great attitude about it though. I'm sure a positve outcome from your interview will help to improve his opinion of the city. LOL At least you'll be together there! Hope you hear something soon.

Still nothing from the Paris embassy. Checking my mail every day in expectant glee--but soon!

It just feels like a lot of dithering and twiddling our thumbs. We (I at least) don't want to make plans for my Christmas visit to the States yet, since it would be better to have an idea of the timeline we're looking at. We'll probably end up mailing the Applicant Readiness letter from the States before I fly back here, to minimize the wait. My to-do list is ready, now I need actual knowledge of when things are due.

K1 visas keep falling in that annoying immigrant/non-immigrant loop, grr), looking at it from a new angle can make the experience fun. I expect I'll be a ball of nerves come interview day, and Kassil doesn't like the Parisians, but the city is stunning. Getting to show him around and be, as I put it in FB, a pair of "slightly deranged lovebirds" in the City of Light (omg Paris want) should be an amazing time. And then we get to go home and finally be together.

Hey there, nice to have the other half drop on in. Its lovely that you guys won't have to spend much more time apart, and making the most of a trip to Paris will be a wonderful experience, the interview day is nerve wracking, but what a feeling it is when its all over, walking on air wondering what on earth you were worried about.

I received an email today from the Sydney consulate to tell me that my visa has been issued!! Which means its in the post tonight, should arrive tomorrow.

Perfect timing!

WooHoo! What are we going to do when there is nothing to stress over, wait for or panic about??

Jordan is going crazy, waiting to book his flight. They told us he should be able to pick it up Thur or Fri, but there is a small chance he may have to wait until Monday so he can't book anything. Ugh! He's checking his email constantly and I'm checking the CSC site contantly. We're pathetic! (where's that little "staring at the clock smiley"??)

haha... I can't wait to be detached from my phone and computer, and not panic or stress or worry or just in general hate being the non-single single one.

ohhh well at least thats only a few days to wait. I don't know, I think it gets harder when you get sooooo close! you can see it, you can smell it, but its juuuuust out of reach.

Believe me, we feel your pain - all this waiting could be made so much easier if the communication between the USCIS, NVC, and embassies was just modernized!

BTW, Congrats to all of you with updates. I can't wait to be posting anything on here but the fact that I am still waiting........................... LOL
