I'm with you, I don't like winter either.

30 days, woohoo! My date is one month after yours (if all goes well) 1/12/13. I'm stressing with all the planning too, that and an interview in 2 weeks :o It's tough having to have a contingency plan in case something doesn't go right at the interview. Good luck with the final planning!

Congratulations to you that have been successful.

Does anyone know if there are special issues with the Vermont Processing Center?

For months the Vermont location was showing K-1 visas running at 5 months then suddenly it changed to 5.6 months.

5.6 came and went and our K-1 seems to be late.......

Halfwing, there are no special issues, but VSC were processing very late up to 8 months for many people, mostly March filers felt that pain, they have since sped up and May is being worked on now, over the last 2 weeks many May filers from VSC have received their NOA2, it should be with you some time over the next 2 weeks. If you wish, you can try to call and put in a service request, I don't know how to do that myself, but its something you can try to see if it would help speed things up.

That is sooo cool. Both of us on the 12th. Stressing about his family coming, they keep saying yes, but don't have visitor visas.

I'm a May filer too, only just found this site after 5 1/2 months of tearing my hair out wondering what was happening and why it was taking so long. I really wish I had known about this from the start so I could go through all this with other people who understand exactly what the process is like. I have everything crossed that I will get noa2 in the next week or so. Hopefully once I hve that everything after will happen pretty quickly.

What Patty said.. welcome and your turn is coming up shortly, it helps seeing people around your date being approved, don't be too concerned if someone with a date after you gets approved first, that messes with your head a little, its perfectly normal, and doesn't mean you have been skipped over. hang in there, its not far away now!
