Hey SweetDelish! I'm doing good thank you. My fiancee had got the confirmation that she is in remission and is cancer free. However she has an amount of fluid excess in her head that has built up due to the chemotherapy but apart from that she is doing good.

My fiancee called the USCIS and apparently my letter from the US embassy should be with me at some point next week, which means we have our NOA2 (I think?). We haven't had the email, text or letter confirming our petition approval, so still playing the waiting game and not giving my hopes up until we get either letter lol

OMG, that is great news. Make sure you tell your fiance that we can't wait to see pictures in her dress.

Oh man. There are people around my date already with approvals. I played with numbers right now, there are people before me and after me who got it today. I am soo excited but super nervous. Praying so much now.

It will be your turn soon, then the process goes lightening fast.

I wen ahead and booked my medical. Good job I did as there are only a few appointment left for this year!! If anyone from Ireland is looking around these forums, you have to ring the office of Tom gleeson at the black rock clinic at 01 288 0111 for the medical. It's a hefty 395 euros due to the crippling governments inability to offer healthcare at a fair price.

Keeping my fingers crossed for all the may filers still waiting for the NOA2!!

wow! Thats more than the Australian one and I thought that was expensive! Good to hear you got an appointment for this year though, I hope there are some other consulates/medical offices that aren't too busy for our other waiting May filers to still make it by Christmas or at least New Years.

BrockUK, JE06, Mateo&Raquel .. and any of the others waiting from May.

Good luck to everyone posting here!

The May filers should publish a book- much more interesting than reality tv  If I hadn't got engaged to an USC I would never have known that this insane world of waiting, existed. I hope you all get to be with your loved ones soon.

fair enough, I'm not one to publicly air my emotions really, though I've done it twice now. horrified both times that I did. could be worse, I could be spouting it all over facebook.

Fired off an email to the NVC today; between my loathing for phones and the VJ wiki saying that's the method they prefer, it seemed pretty logical. Hopefully by Monday or Tuesday they might have some good news for me. If not, next Friday I'll call them.

Congratulations on getting your medical scheduled, AnnaLouise. Hopefully it all goes smoothly.

HI Everyone,

I'm so happy for everyone who received their NOA2s, but I have been going crazy all week waiting for mine. We filed on May 7th and it is now past my VJ estimated timeline. It seems like the first week of May has almost been passed over. Is anyone else in the same boat? I have been pretty good at staying calm and patient, but after seeing a may 24th approved today, I don't know how to deal. Any words of encouragement? :(

I'm sure he is just stressed and nervous. He will come around again. Don't stop the process and keep going. He will regret it if you stop now.

Good Luck

I can't give up the habit of coming here at the moment. but in a split second decision, my fiance has called it off again, we've been stronger than ever, and so happy, hes been excited and counting down the days telling anyone who would listen about our plans, Friday he was making arrangements, switched his life insurance to me as the beneficiary, fixed up the car he has ready for me, called our marriage officiant about vows, photos and the certificate, completed forms with my name on them to come to Korea with him and talked at length with the administrator about his time in NZ and Australia, looked at booking our flights to Vegas and Chicago, talked to the guys at work about his plans told me that they were really happy for him, then I told him that I was worried that I might not be able to go to Korea with him, he said it was a slim chance and not to worry, it will work out.... and then Friday afternoon, he told me that he was too scared to get married, that I put the doubt in his mind and he wouldn't want to go to Korea and have a long distance relationship again, so he is calling it off. Hes barely spoken to me since, I've tried to suggest alternative options but hes not even prepared to talk to me.

Hes done this before, and snapped out of it, but I don't think its going to happen this time. I'm trying to figure out a time when I have to just let go and move on. I'm stunned. and clearly venting here... again.

I never thought this would happen to us again.

I hope no one else has to endure what I'm going through now. best wishes to you all. (F)

Get your frustration out in a productive manner and just keep telling yourself its on its way to you. You are so close, you just gotta focus on your journey. Everyone is rooting for you!!

Thank you for the encouragement. I just think the stress is finally getting to me and I needed a place to vent.

I can imagine how you feel cuz I felt a bit down when I saw a may 24th approval even though I am a may 22nd filer. I guess our approval will come when it's time for it. Enjoy the weekend and hope for a better week next week, like the rest of us are doing.
