Well, I got my NOA2 on November 6th according to the website. I guess they haven't processed my letter yet that I need to withdraw it because we got married! :bonk:

Now I need to call later today too and hope they understand me over skype. :huh:

Congratulations!! thats great!

I just checked, 29% of VSC May filers are now approved, so 46 out of 161, not too bad in the 2 weeks since they started, the flood of approvals can only get bigger since they have few April stragglers to get through too.

Hang in there guys, its right around the corner.

@sweetdelish. I looked at my country's portals and some reviews. It seems that you pay for the visa the day of the interview. Just need to book my medical as there can be long waits and with Christmas coming in fast, Irish administrators like to start winding down early. My fiancé is finishing up his affidavit of support so I should have it by the end of next week.

AnnaLouise, it is actually country specific, for Australia, I paid the fee online after packet 4, but I have no idea what your region requires you to do.

sorry Omer, I don't know anything about co-sponsorship. I suggest you either do a search or post a question in your regional forum. the one I sent you a link for, co-sponsorship as far as i know also has country specific requirements.

oh.. and I'm not a Sir.. you don't need to be formal..

excellent.. are you able to book your medical early? Sydney allowed me to book without my case number, as long as I had it when I went for my appointment, though I know that Melbourne allows you to have your medical without a case number - nothing like being consistent!! I think that and the police check are the 2 things that take some time - well.. and waiting for an interview date! the rest should go fast.
