I didn't have any machine dated photos, I printed them and wrote the dates and location on the back, Included boarding passes and passport stamps too. my fiance added a few without dates too. no big deal I think.

I was wondering about them too. I really hope and pray she came through the surgery well.

Hey, sorry it has been a while since I got back to you. Just got back from the USA to see my fiancee. She will need operating in a few weeks time. Very week but happy I went over to see her. Chemothrapy has only seemd to slow down and shriken the cancer a little, but the doctors seem positive about the surgery.

However I still have no news from the USCIS. Its already been 126 days and our petition has been expedited. Doesnt make any sense.

Anyways I hope you are all well and getting excited about your progress! Sorry I missed out so much...

And today, I woke up to a text notification that the RFE is in the mail again. Since that means they got the info from the customer service call, maybe they sent it to the correct address this time...

Well at least its in the mail. :) fingers crossed.

I'm not much further ahead from when I first got my NOA2, Sydney consulate requires us to have our medical and police clearance done in order to sending back packet 3. Since I'm working in NZ, everything is taking a little longer for me to get. It will be 2 months since NOA2 when I finally get to send back my packet 3, I hope its not longer than that. I know that at least I have an approval, I'm not complaining, but I just wish that I had been better prepared considering the gift of approval was granted in such a timely manner.

just 8 weeks left in NZ. can't wait to live my life by something other than countdowns....

What is this packet 3 you are referring too? What exactly do we have to get together after you are approved? paperwork, etc. Is there a link for info? thanks

Packet 3 depending upon your country's consulate, is the next set of paperwork and medical exam needed to be completed before you interview, after you receive your NOA2. Here is a link. http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/types/types_2994.html

You need to check with others in your consulate for specific requirements, because you can be denied if you don't follow their guidelines. I hope this helps.

hey i filled my case on 1st may.....2012 noa 1 rec 7th may ........ but didnt rec any update after this....! its been five months :-(

k1 visa.....

Vermont center's running a bit slow - five month is the estimated time, although I hear they're starting to catch up. Believe me, I'd rather have waited five months and gotten NOA2 instead of wait four, get notice of a RFE, and then spend most of the next month waiting for them to actually manage to mail it to the right place. :/

Keep calm, you'll get there soon enough.
