Hi everyone! So we got our noa2 on aug3 but we haven't received our hard copy.

and once we have our manila case number can we schedule for the medical and interview even if we dont have the noa2 hard copy yet?

THanks!

good question, I have seen something about this in the regional (Philippines) forum, I think thats correct that you don't need to wait for your hard copy and the MNL number is all you need. best to have a look in there though to confirm.

I got my NOA2 on the same day as yours and I got my case number a week ago. You don't need to wait for packet 3 as long as you have your case number to make an interview appointment. Good luck!

Anyway, I just got an email from US embassy n they have sent my packet 3, according to them. Footwork is about to start now. :(

Do you know theres a USCIS app to check on your status? I have it on my android.. its called "uscis case status" ... kinda cool! That way I don't go back to the actual site everyday.

I sure hope so. My hardcopy NOA1 was May 10th, even though I didn't get the actual hardcopy for nearly a month after because of their screwup on my mailing address. I just hope they send it to the right address /this/ time right away.

No, I didn't know that. I'm kinda glad I didn't....I would have made myself nuts with it checking constantly. LOL I'm sure others can use it though!

My hardcopy NOA1 took some strange path too. I think mine took as long as yours. I hope my NOA2 doesn't do the same. I'll let you know. Are you checking the USCIS site for status?

Heh. Obsessively. I'm on the line with USCIS right now making sure my mailing address is correct, and asking about the status of the case.
