I had to post our good news! No, we did not get our NOA2 (I wish!) but Jordan was able to get through to border to go join his ship in Tampa!! He is so happy. He will be able to work for the next 4 months while we wait. They really took their time reviewing all his documents but he said they were most interested in the Hard Copy NOA1. So glad he had it with him! They stapled something to his passport and sent him on his way.

That is GREAT news! :D

Thanks Patty! It's great to be here. It's like a big deep breath of fresh air to be connected with people in the same boat. Whenever I get asked by or talk to someone about our visa process, I get looked at like I'm from another planet. Now I can come here and everyone now exactly what I'm talking about. :)

Yeah, no one outside of this can possibly understand how difficult this is. The constant worry that something will go wrong, a RFE, a rejection after months of waiting, a delay for some stupid reason, worse yet a denile. Did I include enough evidence, did I leave a blank where a N/A should have been. I have nightmares. I know we will all laugh about it a year from now. For the time being its nice to have our little support group here.

I got a call from Jordan from Cozumel (lucky duck!) today and he is thrilled to be working again. We initially thought he was going to be stuck in Canada for the entire process, therefore not be able to work. We got some bad information from an attorney that we did NOT hire (whew)that he would be unable to leave to work. Thanks goodness for this site and others who have given us good information. Oh how I wanted to be there with him instead of stuck in my office.

Welcome, it is exciting and nerve racking this process, I am addicted to this site. I am on here more than my e-mail or Facebook. I really enjoy reading questions, and the off topic conversations are hilarious.

March filers through CSC are getting their NOA2 recently. If CSC can keep up approving at this 120 days or less rate, CSC May filers will be looking late August or early September for our NOA2 barring RFE.

As great as this would be, I'm keeping my hopes under control; if NOA2 happens before five months, I'll be happy, but I'm expecting it sometime in October. I'd rather not get my hopes up and have them dashed on this. >.>

Hopefully things will move swiftly and smooth like for us VSC'ers. October will be here before we know it. But sometimes one day away from my Raquel feels like 1000 years. We gotta keep each other on our toes and in good spirits! We're gonna make it!! :)...By the way, anyone who doesn't mind, please say a prayer for me. Before Raquel and I filed our petition in May, I lost my job due to a lay off. That's not a good feeling at all, especially while we are in our K1 process. The good news is that my parents were going to co-sponsor Raquel and I anyway. Our lawyer said we have absolutely nothing to worry about and that everything will still be just fine. So I'm not so worried about that affecting our case. But I still need a job. I have some really good job prospects lined out, my applications and resumes are in, and hoping to find out something soon. It will be so much better when I am working again. With no job at the moment, all that is in my head is this process and the waiting. It can make you go crazy. And I know Raquel is worried as well. It would be do refreshing to call her and be able to tell her I've landed a new job. The best thing about that though is Raquel has been by my side this whole time, encouraging me and believing in me. I'm so blessed. I don't know what I would do without her. Thank you Lord for putting such an Amazing woman in my life!!! I guess that is what helps get me through this waiting..hehe! EL AMOR LO PUEDE TODO!!!! That means Love can do Anything! :) Good Night everyone! :)

Hi guys,

Sorry that I havent been on for a while. A lot has happened to us recently.

We just found out that some of my fianceé tumours have come back. This time it maybe cancerous. Its just so hard not being there with her, just even to cuddle her or to hold her hand really breaks my heart.

Some good news though, in light of this she has been approved for an increase on her disability income, and the judge who ruled this said he will put my name down as her legal carer, and because of this he will forward this on to the USCIC immediantly so I can be approved.

Her CAT scan is tomorrow. I just hope she pulls it through in time for our wedding...

Thank you, it means a lot to me. Before we did discover this, she did go to a wedding exhibition in TN and she won an $8,000 Christian Dior wedding dress. I was like huh, who is Christian Dior. Let's just say that after asking some ladies at my work, I now know that she is one lucky girl to win that lol.

Trying to keep our strength up for this. I will let you guys know what happens tomorrow...just hope the judge does contact the USCIS asap.
