I-864, Affidavit of Support

If your filing a K1 Visa do you use an I-134 or the I-864 or both??? After throughly analizing a VJ member response to a previous post, I think one is used for a K1 Visa and one is used with the k3 Visa. But honestly I'm not quite sure.

K-1 uses the I-134.

When your loved one is here, after marriage, and you are adjusting status you will use the I-864. (I-864 is used at the embassy level for spouse visas: CR-1 and K-3- even though K-3 is seldom used now)

You only need I-134 for the interview , have to use I-864 for adjustment
