The people who employ illegals are the real problem. Illegal immigrants are only here because they are able to find jobs. Besides, complain about illegals all you like, but I just know you guys would be the first to complain about expensive vegetables, wine, meat, etc if illegal workers weren't being hired to do the work.

Seems like that tax consultant is part of the problem. If he thinks the returns are fraudulent then he shouldn't prepare the returns for the illegals. If he didn't prepare the returns then how did he get copies of them?

The loonies on the left (are the real problem) would scream if the law was ever serious enough to where illegal aliens couldn't work -- "oh those heartless ####### conservatives are starving poor illegal aliens that just want to come here to work and feed their families.' There is NO pleasing the left -- except for total amnesty.

Read the studies that have been done regarding the negligible increase in produce prices, the increase is next to nothing. Certainly not enough to justify all of the problems associated with turning a blind eye to the illegal alien problem.

Get rid of the cradle-to-grave welfare system the loony-left loves for able bodied folks, then farmers will have all the labor they need.

The same tax revenue could be generated by folks that are here legally that aren't likely to engage in tax fraud for fear of losing an immigration benefit or out of respect for their newly adopted country. However, shall we also add these cost to that one more area of fraud committed by illegal aliens?

1. The increased cost to states and counties associated with building new jails and prisons;

2. The increased cost to states and counties associated with education and building new schools;

3. The increased cost to states and counties for medical cost;

4. The increased cost to states and counties associated with demand for resources and infrastructure;

Maybe your question should be posed to the families of those killed by illegal aliens that drive drunk, the victims of rape by an illegal alien, the family members of those killed by an illegal alien during the commission of robbery or illegal alien gang members. There is a tsunami of emotional destruction that "...tax revenue generated by illegal aliens" can not offset.

I've defended AZ SB 1070 here countless times, smiled when Alabama shot down the racial profiling argument by arresting a Mercedes exec, and argued for Washington, Democrat and Republican, to go after the companies employing illegal aliens to suffer prohibitive financial consequences when caught.

The cost to this country, in financial terms, in terms of creating a society that thinks some jobs are "beneath them", in terms of consistency of law enforcement, in terms of exploitation of the vulnerable and desperate, is too high. And as time passes, it will only get higher.

Yeah I live in Carrollton and don't see anything like that around here. I think my wife faces more racism from Thais here for getting here after they did. She's had a few incidents like that. There was a restaraunt in Irving where the Thai owner had her in tears.

She also faced racism in Thailand for being from the Northeast poor part, even though she moved to Bangkok as a teenager and went to high school there.
