My husband is green card holder.

He has applied for me. My pd is august 2010

My i 130 was approved on dec 2010

Now my case is in NVC , after i130 approval my hubby submitted all forms.

Every tyme i call nvc they said visas are unavailable and wait for priority date to be current..

Since then i am waiting.... Now it has been almost 2 years that i m waiting for my priority date to be current and my interview call.

Some one told me that it takes 5 years for visa??? Is it true??

As i m in f2a category..

Is this seriously take 5 years to complete this process?????

Maham your pd can current could be current in october or nov 2012 visa bulletin due to thie new era and pace f2a taking 2.5 yr not 5 so ya you really can make your mind that your interview can be schedule in last of this yr

I really need your help my dear visa journey friends. I sent all my paper work for my husband to visa center back in 2010, and our case completed since then. For the affidavit of support, my brother was my co-sponsor, but now he no longer has a job; he just go to school full time. That makes me think I am going to need another co-sponsor with new tax transcript for the recent year. My question is do i need to do over the whole affidavit process? Meaning, if my new co-sponsor and I will have to get letters from our jobs and filing out the forms again. Please help. Thank you.
