Web_Annual_Numerical_Limits.pdfAnnual Numerical Limits

FY-2012

Family

Preference Foreign State Worldwide

F1 1,638 23,400

FX 65,950

F2A 6,151 21,984

F2B 1,838 26,266

F3 1,638 23,400

F4 4,555 65,000

Total 15,820 226,000

Unused numbers can “fall-down” from F1 to F2A to F2B to F3 to F4.

Unused F4 numbers can “fall-up” to F1. This potential is taken into consideration when setting

the monthly/annual targets for number use. Those targets are established based on the historical

and current patterns of number use, and are adjusted as necessary.

Didn't get it all. Since DOS predicted their number uses for next few months, they should have potential guessing about it unless they have Information based on receiving few numbers I 130 approval from USCIS...whole system is mess. God help us please.

Spouse of LPR is eligible to apply for USC after staying five years in US since becoming LPR.

One thing I am not sure about is- LPR files for his/her spouse who lives abroad. Since it is taking more time for spouse to come to US, some LPR's become USC and upgrade their cases to IR1. So spouse of USC enters US on GC under IR category - Can spouses file for their citizenship after 3 yrs in this case?

Plz. someone shed some light on this case?

Hey just want ask a question ?

USC spouse are eligible for citizenship in 3 years ,

How about LPR spouse ?

Am I the only one who feels something's amiss at DOS/Visa Office in the way the conduct their operations with respect to being transparent. FY 2011 ended in Sept 2011 and yet after 8 long months, they still haven't posted the ONLY report that indicates their issuance of F2A visas? The defunct page without any real data came online on DOS site at http://www.travel.state.gov/visa/statistics/statistics_5641.html

Given the fact that DOS Visa Office themselves predicted movement of upto 2.5 month, past two month's movement has barely been 1.5 months. I know that anything suggested towards improving the situation for F2A is immediately shot down on the pretext of legislative logjams in congress, but if you people who so passionately debate on PD movement, then atleast it would be more helpful if concerns of intentional non release of visa statistics be conveyed to the visa office. I dug up the address of Mr. Donahue in DOS as

Mr. David Donahue

Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Visa Services

Bureau of Consular Affairs

Department of State

2201 C Street, NW, Room 6811

Washington, D.C. 20520
