Immigration lawyers say they will not advance 2.5 months. :ot:

i think there will be no great progress :help:

The lawyers are just saying that it is impossible to predict priority date movement. I totally agree with them. However, given Oppenheim's statement and the fact that July will be the beginning of the last quarter of the fiscal year, there is a possibility that we will see 2.5 months movement.

Good luck to everyone following this thread and keep us posted on any interview news.

Please help me on this friends: My I-130 was approved on April 25, 2012 and since then I haven't received anything from the NVC. So I called the NVC today to ask for my NVC Case Number, but the operator said that my PD is far behind the current Visa Bulletin and I have to wait till my PD becomes current and go to foreign consulate to get my visa. I asked her I suppose to complete my case at NVC before my PD becomes current, but he told me not to do anything till my PD becomes current. So I am confused as some people say to contact the NVC to get my Case Number and give them my email address to do everything electronically via email (But the operator says NO, that's not true). What should I do now, and what is gonna happen? Is the operator righ about this?

Unfortunately, I don’t receive anything yet. I had called yesterday, and the operator told they are still working on cases before 1 jan 2010. So, let’s give it a couple of days. Once I receive it, you all will know because I would move this thread. I can’t wait any longer to have my husband by my side

PD 05 FEB 2010

Interview July 17th 2012
