Hey Guys thank you very much for your kind encouraging words, I just have to keep my faith and sanity. :bonk: :bonk:

I know how frustrating it is to wait for NOA2. I had less hours of sleep while waiting for ours. It will come. Take a deep breath and relax.

So I called May 1st and placed a service request and they sent an email to me about a day later saying I would get an answer in 60 days. I called 2 weeks later and another person told me to email VSC and ask them what is going on. She said that I would have to hear something in 21 days??

So then the immigration lawyer called and put in a service request.

I then got an email back from an immigration officer quoting the original 60 day wait period!

SO july 2nd it is...

If I don't hear something by then I might go ballistic!!!

Hey molly35, hold on I'm in the same boat like you and have the similar time line AND STILL WAITING  , however I'm as Stu4lee characterized I'm a sort of serial divorcee, but that does not matter if the person has a clean criminal records, undergoing checks is the one that takes time, I'm sure that you get frustrated when you look and read on VJ forum about the lucky couples who got their NOA2 within the processing or little longer than than it, but each case is different and the adjudicator officers are not having the same experience or flexibilty like the others. my advice DO Not check VJ much just answer who writes to you, you could write me personal message through VJ if you wish, SECOND ADVICE, fire your lawyer and save your money, they can not do anything against the bureaucracy of USCIS or NCSC center timing. SO HOLD ON AS WHAT I"M DOING, and I hope something good will happen

Hi

We have been waiting almost 6 months, and we are feeling really down about it. We put in a service request about 14 days ago and was told to wait 15 days, then received the 60 day email. My fiancé is going to call them on Monday. This is such a nightmare, our lives are on hold and it seems like it will never get approved...this is just the first rung of a very long ladder!

I just don't understand why it can take so long to do background checks on people, after all everything is computerised.

Good luck to everyone still waiting.

Yes this website can be either incredibly helpful and supportive or it can be infuriating!!

I don't know why this is taking so long.

I thought 5 months is a bit absurd but so be it, but now that we are rounding into the 7 months I am just beside myself.

It is ridiculous.

I have been told that We will hear something by July 2nd. I don't know if I can make it that long!

oh well.

I am going to call on Monday just for the hell of it!

hang in there!
