Ans 1. A Birth certificate issued by govt authorities like municipal or village Panchayat( if you were born in village) is valid.

Ans 2.Need a translation. Simply translate by yourself take a printout and get it notarized from any notary lawyer who sit in court house, Its the matter of only 20 bucks.(That is what I have done, I can send you translated words).

Ans 3. It must have your name, mother's name, father's name, date of birth, place of birth. IF your old Hindi certificate missing any, you need to get a new one.

Good Luck.

Thanks for your reply. I have one Date of Birth Certificate but my mother's name is not mentioned in that.

Will that be valid? Please send me a Translated Copy. That would be really great for me.

I will make the new one with our Village Panchayat Pradhan.
