Hi,

I recently sent my I-129f Package, and notice that i forgot to put in my Proof of having met in person :o (pics, tickets etc)). I wanted to know if anyone knows the best way too go about this? i thought maybe i should just send it all in with copies of the package that i first sent in. I didn't know if they would just ask for the proof at the interview, and therefore just wait. I want to avoid waiting for five months, then be ask for Proof of relationship in a RFE.

If any one knows the best way to go about this PLEASE HELP!!!! :help: And if im too just send it in Now where to send it Thank You.

I'm sorry to say this, but you will have to wait for the RFE. If you send another package it will get sent back. Just have all your proof ready and as soon as they send the hardcopy, send you proof by express and it should be settled right away. Good luck.

It's not really a matter of the new evidence being send back. It's a matter of it getting lost since they have no way of matching it to your original petition before receiving an RFE. Some have tried successfully however it's NOT guaranteed to even reach the desk/box where your petition is located.

Just have it ready. By the time you get the physical RFE you can reply the same day and hopefully not lose too much time waiting around for NOA2.

However, if you decide to go ahead and send evidence before getting an RFE, I'd advise you to put your case number on all pages and only send in copies(just like you would with an RFE response). I'd still not advise you to take action now however it's your choice.

K1 process, October 2010 > POE, July 2011

I-129F approved in 180 days from NOA1 date. (195 days from filing to NOA2 in hand)

Interview took 224 days from I-129F NOA1 date. (241 days from filing petition until visa in hand)

From filing I-129F petition until POE: 285 days

AOS process, December 2011 > July 2012

EAD/AP Approval took 51 days from NOA1 date to email update. (77 days from filing until EAD/AP in hand)

AOS Approval took 206 days from NOA1 date to email update. (231 days from filing until greencard in hand)

From filing I-129F petition until greencard in hand: 655 days

Thank you@moomin and feli114 for taking the time to help me with this matter. I shall wait till i receive a RFE before i send any information, i think that would be the best thing to do.

I agree, and an RFE usually only slows you down for 2-4 weeks (from what I understand).

Just a note on the evidence of having met, also send photo copies of the entry and exit stamps from the passport of the person that traveled when you met in person. This is one of the primary evidences they really want to see.
