Hi guys! Thank you Harpa and Ceadserac for your comments. I've attached the RFE letter from USCIS in pdf format, I also attached our general response letter and my personal statement explaining why I hadn't filed for tax returns that I did not include in the initial submission.

I already filled out both my father's (joint sponsor) and my (sponsor) I-864 forms again. I also gathered all my dad's tax papers and the W2s and 1099 (which in my dad's case they are 1099R and SSA-1099 since he's retired). I just don't know what USCIS means by tax schedules what pages are those exactly--- should I just copy the whole packet??? Any info on this???

This week I called a couple immigration offices where they fill out forms and such to ask if they can review what I already filled out and my two letters that I'm going to resubmit--- $160!!! just to check what I already did---no way!

I'd really appreciate your feedback. I hope the letters are in the right format. I just really want to get through with all this! Hope someone else may find my letters useful for their RFE response.

Thanks guys!!!

Hello - Thank you for the letters they are very helpful. I am in the same situation as yours. I am a full time student & do not work in US & never filed taxes. So what did you mark in the I-864 form under employment history? Did you check Un-employed since ......? Is the form accepted after your response to RFE?

Thanks for your help in advance.

Hello There,

i and my wife, we are both student. so, my uncle is the only one whos sponsors for me but his own income does not exceed the federal poverty guidelines for household size. how ever, he and his wife are both retired and their combination income exceeds 125% of the federal poverty guidelines for household size.

in addition, my uncle and his wife also fill out tax income together. foe this reason, his own income does not show on income tax instead of combination his and his wife income.

so, for my situation, does my uncle wife need to fill out form I-864A and my uncle still have to fill out form I-864?

Long Nguyen
