Welcome to the forum.

Yep, you are correct. The beneficiary's police record is needed much later at the interview phase. Please consider reviewing the step-by-step guide in the forum's Guide section.

BTW, there is no need to multiple post.

Good luck on your visa journey.

Your fiancé does not need to submit your NBI nor your police clearance to the USCIS with the I-129F packet. However, you will be required to submit a current NBI during your interview at the U.S. Embassy.

At your U.S. Embassy interview, you will not need any local (Philippines) police clearances, and you will not need any barangay clearances. However, it would not hurt to have those with you.

You will be required to submit police clearances from other countries in which you lived for six months or more. There are a couple of exceptions to this requirement because there are some countries where you can't get police clearances unless you are still living in that country.

Good luck with your visa journey. :star:

The petitioner does not need to send his police record. Homeland security and the NVC will be searching this on their own during the background check. The only thing possibly related is if he had a record and went to court for civil violations. Then he needs to send the court documents, not his police record.

Yes question 8 is about any children of his that he has living with him or is paying child support toward.

Your petitioner does not need to send in his police record.

Your petitioner needs to add all of his children who are under 21 years old and unmarried.

if you didnt work abroad for more than 6 months you only need NBI clearance instead of police certificate and no you dont need to submit that with your k1 packet, you will need to submit it at the US embassy manila during your interview

Unless he has a police record regarding crimes listed on the I-129F there is no need for a police report for the Petitioner.

as of the listing his kids on the 134... yes.

The guides here are very helpful http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1guide
