Hi VJ members!

Me and my fiancé are living together in UAE last 7 months. She has to leave in end of July. If we don't approve and dont get interview until July then she will leave. If I will go for interview alone is it any problem? We met online in June 2011 she visited me in uk then I came to UAE and then she came UAE and still we are together. She is 9 year older then me. Any problem going interview about this?

It is much better if she goes with you to the interview my husband went alone and now they're saying our marriage fraud because I'm 11 years older than him. And it's even more a problem if she has been married before. Good luck we have been in this process for over a year and a half.

My husband went to his interview alone and I'm 8 years older than him, also married before to a different pakistani. We had no problems... it really depends on your case and the officer... no 2 cases are alike...

I think the biggest piece of advice I can give you is BE HONEST about EVERYTHING! If you met online, say so. If you live together, say so. If she has or hasn't met your family, say so. The red flags and complications come when they raise questions and you answer them in a manner that makes them question your answer. Do not be afraid to tell your story and elaborate on points that will reinforce your answers.
