Moved from Adjustment of Status from Family Based Visas to K1 Process & Procedures; topic is not an AOS process topic.

For K visa cases, the NVC is nothing more than a mail stop, all they do is assign a case number to the file and send it to the appropriate Embassy or Consulate overseas. You pay no fees to the NVC (K visa fees are paid at the Embassy) and you will not be using the following forms, DS-261, DS-3032, and I-864 (I-864 will be used for the AOS process).

what on earth! put the breaks on right away. Go back and read the guides and the flow charts for the K-1. You are totally confused and doing two different visa types in 1 which is completely unnecessary.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

I thought I was mixing them up.. I did read the quides, but I read two apparently one must be for the Cr1 or something els unrelated to my K1 okay so just so Im clear first off I have all the information that needs to be sent to my fiance and as far as NVC I dont need to worry about that step correct. In other words my fiance pretty much takes it from here?

I thought I was doing my timeline so everyone could see, do you mean timeline sig stamp?

Okay thanks, now we all know that you have received your NOA2.

Please read only the correct step-by step K-1 guide, paying particular attention to the section called, "What to send to your fiance(e) once the I-129F is approved (Receive NOA2):"

Do you have a case file number from NVC? Read only the correct step-by-step K-1 Flowchart, starting at step #4.

BTW, this is all contained in the Guides.....

Good luck on your visa journey.
