can you guys please fill me in on questions that i will be expecting to hear at the santo dominigo consulate :/ my husband and i are pretty nervous. anything will help????????????????????

also we have been dating for almost four years but obviously i live in america and he lives in dr. i keep hearing about some questions that are going to be asked are like what deorarent does he wear and what toothpast, honestly i have NO FREAKIN idea. i visit my baby like 2 times a year because i am a full time student but when i go to visit him i really dont sit there and try to memorize everything he uses and what not.

Also, what have you applied for? It says "other" in your profile and you refer to him as your husband then say you're dating...I'm just pointing this out because you have to be careful with wording. Make sure that if you're just dating, you don't refer to him as husband.

We married on Aug 24, 2013 in a small ceremony in MA

We'll be applying for a CR1 / IR1 visa as soon as we are able

Yes her other post says they are married and then she calls him boyfriend. Doing their interview in the DR is not easy as it is, she needs to get her words straight! good.gif

No one can tell you exactly what questions you'll get. And in all honesty, the most important thing isn't exactly whether you get them "right or wrong" but how you answer them. They're trying to figure out if you have a real relationship so it's not like an exam. I suggest reading through the Santo Domingo embassy reviews here on VJ. Good luck!
