Peterpan, I am probably better at english language than you are, putting that aside again when you were younger and this is from your perspective how could the aspect of how your mother look over shadow the love and protection that she was giving to you make you and your sister feel this type of shame.

When you were younger did all of your friends have HOT looking mothers and fathers?

If you are better at it, what's up with the comprehension difficulties?

And, really, you expect kids to be mature and understanding? They are selfish little human that think the moon and the sun revolve around them. Love and protection are taken for granted and expected, not cherished in any way.

~~~
As you can imagine, it was a competition, eveyone wanted his/her mom to be the most beautiful/youngest/healthiest. A sort of "my dad can beat your dad".
PeterPan, I was not raised to belive that the world resolve all around me, nor have I raised my son this way. I don't know maybe it's a culture thing but all children are raised the way you have describe.
I hope you have better luck with raising your future children.
Again, I notice when some people don't get everyone to agree to their arguments, they start an attack mod. SMH...
I hope you have better luck with raising your future children.
I'm glad you were a super child who rose above less moral stages of childhood development.
Jean Piaget (1896–1980) claimed that young children are egocentric. Piaget was concerned with two aspects of egocentricity in children; language and morality (Fogiel, 1980). He believed that egocentric children use language primarily for communication with oneself. Piaget observed that children would talk to themselves during play, and that this egocentric speech was merely the child’s thoughts (Junefelt, 2007). He believed that this speech had no special function; it was used as a way of accompanying and reinforcing the child’s current activity. He theorised that as the child matures cognitively and socially the amount of egocentric speech used would be reduced (Junefelt, 2007). However, Vygotsky felt that egocentric speech has more meaning, as it allows the child’s growth in social speech and high mental development (Junefelt, 2007). In addition to Piaget’s theory, he believed that when communicating with others, the child believes that others know everything about the topic of discussion and become frustrated when asked to give further detail (Fogiel, 1980).
Piaget also believed that egocentrism affects the child’s sense of morality (Fogiel, 1980). Due to egocentrism, the child is only concerned with the final outcome of an event rather than another’s intentions. For example, if someone breaks the child’s toy, the child would not forgive the other due to the child not being able understand that the person who broke the toy did not intend to break it (Fogiel, 1980). This phenomena can also be backed by the evidence from the findings of the case study by Nelson, who studied the use of motives and outcomes by young children as aiding to form their moral judgements.
Piaget did a test to investigate egocentrism called the mountains study. He put children in front of a simple plaster mountain range and then asked them to pick from four pictures the view that he, Piaget, would see. Younger children before age seven, during the pre-operational stage of development, they picked the picture of the view they themselves saw and were therefore found to lack the ability to appreciate a viewpoint different from their own. In other words, their way of reasoning was egocentric. Only when entering the concrete-operational stage of development at age 7–12, children became less egocentric and could appreciate viewpoints other than their own. In other words, they were capable of cognitive perspective-taking.
However, the mountains test has been criticized for judging only the child's visuo-spatial awareness, rather than egocentrism. A follow up study involving police dolls showed that even young children were able to correctly say what the interviewer would see (Hughes, 1975 as cited in Sammons, 2010). It is thought that Piaget overestimated the levels of egocentrism in children.
Egocentrism is thus the child's inability to see other people's viewpoints. The child at this stage of cognitive development assumes that their view of the world is the same as other peoples', e.g. a little girl does not see that taking another child's ball is wrong because she does not understand that taking the ball would hurt the other child’s feelings.
I wonder what this child friend's at school will say at parent-teacher meetings...... Oh! I forgot, she will be a HOT mom; only 10 years older than her offspring! :wow:
10-Year-Old Mexican Girl Gives Birth After 31-Week Pregnancy
A 10-year-old Mexican girl has given premature birth to a baby boy weighing 1.5 kilograms (3.3 pounds), Mexican media outlets reported.
The mother was initially admitted to Hospital de la Mujer in Puebla, located about 60 miles southeast of Mexico City, on Oct. 22, suffering from seizures and other medical problems. Surgeons at the hospital delivered the infant by Caesarean section after a 31-week pregnancy.
According to UpFront News, hospital officials have confirmed the birth.
Hospital director Rogelio Gonzalez told The Latin American Herald Tribune that the child is in the neonatal intensive care unit, recovering from pneumonia. The mother, who has since been released, has been breastfeeding the child.
"[she] comes every day with her mother to breastfeed her son every four hours and she is recovering very well from her surgery," Gonzalez said.
The young girl, who is almost 11 years old, is reportedly from the San Francisco Totimehuacan community. According to Gonzalez, the state's minimum age of consent is 12 and abortion is illegal unless the mother was the victim of a sexual assault. As a result, the Puebla state Attorney General's Office has been notified of the birth and is investigating. The agency did not immediately reply to a request for comment from The Huffington Post.
Other girls have given birth at that age or younger. In August 2010, an 11-year-old girl who was allegedly raped by her stepfather gave birth after she was denied an abortion because she was in her fourth month of pregnancy, ksee24.com reported.
The youngest mother on record for giving birth is Lina Medina. According to Mid Day, she was five years old when she gave birth to a baby boy in 1939. The father was not positively identified.
In regard to this most recent case, Gonzalez told aciprensa.com he has the "best expectations" for the child's recovery.
:rofl:
So in order to defend the abnormality of a birth outside the natural limits, you criticise another birth outside the accepted barriers? Yay logic!
Er.... competition for jobs? I have one. and higher education......
Great! If you have one, how easy it will be for me?
Ok, this is turning into smth personal, and I don't particularly dig that sort of things. If someone can offer resonable counter-arguments, I'd be interested in discussing them.
Ummm... instead of figuring out what is good or right. Think of it from a childs point of view. Parents with health issues are hard on children. Maybe the child at a young age may become resonible of taking care of them in there teenage years. The child don't have a choice. My mom is not in perfect health and she helps me a lot with my children as I have to work . I can say for a fact my teenage son and almost teenage daughter has a big impact on her blood pressure. And she is in her early 60's . There is no way I would even ask my mom to keep up with a infant or toddler. Not that she is not capable, but out of respect.
You'll are comparing your comments to maybe what has happen to your parents, but older health issues for woman have come a long way. Yes, an older woman can die but would you base your decision on doing what you want to do on the unknown factor.
Based on your ideal answers, an older woman shouldn't even get married at that age, nor should be be caring for her family. I have new for all of you'll who hasn't had your first child, an older woman would be able to do it better than you at an younger age. What they will have over the younger age is wisdom and experience. Raising children requires these 2 assets more than energy or good health.
Handicap woman have children.
But why is it wrong for an older woman to make this kind of decision? No one has be able to answer this question, all everyone has said is they don't think it is right. But why is it wrong?
Most likely, by 70, the personal quest to hold gas cant be assured.
Mentally or Physically. :blink:
But I see how through my ex's culture that women (his mother)had babies with GOD's Will until
they had them no more
it was not abiding at the "lower aged" cut off we have in the U.S.
She started at 14...and stopped when it stopped :wacko:
If woman wants to have children later in life and can safely,physically,financially etc....who is to place WHERE is later in life???
BTW I am a hot mom with the beauty and maturity that I earned proudly through the years and wish it the same for my teenage/young adult girls (when they earn it) I believe there is no comparison with experience of life vs youth/smoother skin beauty....
And if it is GOD's will ....we will have children at a more mature age. (But not at 50 60+)
Heck now that I think about it ...we need to talk. :blink: I will have to put a ceiling age on this subject with him.
hahahahaha
I have found through experience in life, that the more you try to plan things carefully, the more it doesn't happen the way you planned it!
I found out I was pregnant with my daughter after being married 5 years right after I gave up any hope of ever getting pregnant (I wasn't trying to have a baby and never used b.c.) I literally said out loud, "if God doesn't want me to have kids I'm fine with it".....the next month I was suddenly pregnant.
I have to beleive that God gives something to you when it's the right time for you, no matter what you plan or don't plan for, and whether you think you want it or not. :star:
