What i have to do? Start new application?

Hi all,

My brother is a U.S. citizen, so he fills for me i-130 application in 2008.

But now I’m marrying to U.S. citizen, and she think to start a new application for me, because application for spouse is faster than brother or sister.

So my question is: can I start new application while my first application still under processing? Or should I cancel my first application? Or what I have to do?

You can have two applications, no problem. Once one gets approved, the other one will die.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

You can have two applications, no problem. Once one gets approved, the other one will die.

Correction. This would be two "petitions", not two "applications". Please cease interchanging these terms.
