no welcome letter, he didn't take EAD or my I-94. Weird.

He took my I-94. This is probably the worst part of the process. Waiting for a decision....:)

He took my passport and look at it before we even got into the officer. And returned it to me before we leave the office. My I-94 is a parole one, not the regular one. So I don't know if that matters.

I am on my way home! Easiest interview I have ever been, finished in 5 mins. He asked the hubby my birthday and asked me his birthday and how long we have been married. Then he said do you guys have joint bank account or something. So we gave him every financial evidence we have. The officer was really happy to see we bought a house together, he decided to finished the interview when he saw that. He said basically I passed, but he has to do one last check, if I don't get a call from him by 5pm today, I can expect my green card in a week. And he also explained the ROC stuff. Overall a very pleasant experience. Now let's hope I don't get a call!! lol

Well, my wife and I called USCIS today, and it turns out that our local office is processing cases that were submitted in early April. Ours was submitted on May 11, so the wait continues. At least we know a little more now that we did before we called, so we just have to continue to try to be patient. Unfortunately, that's not my forte.

Ohhhh. Congrats on your interview date. I think calling them had something to do with it because I got my EAD notification and Interview notice 2 days after I called them. The guy did tell me to wait 60 days though.
