First of all, I would like to congratulate the may filers that had their applications got approved. As of July 19, my EAD is now in card production status. :-)

Now I'm stuck with the dilemma if my ssn card that has the conditions printed on it needs to be replaced with the regular ssn card? Or should I wait for the green card then change the ssn card? :-(

You won't be able to remove that until you have your greencard

I had my interview a few days ago. It went well. We waited for a long time but the actual interview was only about 20 minutes. The interviewer was very nice. She asked how we met, how long we have known each other and how long we have been dating. Nothing tricky. She was a little shocked with how little conjoint properties we have (we only had a lease) but she understood that we have only been married for a few months and everything takes time. I think as long as you are legitimate everything should just work out. My I130 was approved but I still need to mail in my EAD card once I receive it for I485 approval. It was "in production" during my interview time.

I want to thank VJ for helping me prepare for the application process and best of luck to everyone.

Do they always make you return the EAD before they will approve you? I haven't heard that before. Our interview is in less than 2 weeks and we haven't heard a peep about the EAD, so we gave up on getting it before the interview.

Btw I was thinking go to an info pass appointment if I don't get my interview notice 3 months after I filed my paper

What do you guys think? Should I wait for longer or just go check out what they have been doing to my case?

My mom received card production email this weekend on July 21 yes on a Saturday morning at 8:15 she's very excited.

Great to hear. I know she has been waiting impatiently to get active.
