my status now is awaiting interview on Aug 8. EAD card just gor approved and order for production today.

OMG i am really happy today i received a mail from USCIS

Application Type: I131 , APPLICATION FOR USCIS TRAVEL DOCUMENT

Your Case Status: Post Decision Activity

On July 20, 2012, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I131 APPLICATION FOR USCIS TRAVEL DOCUMENT. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations.

I had my interview a few days ago. It went well. We waited for a long time but the actual interview was only about 20 minutes. The interviewer was very nice. She asked how we met, how long we have known each other and how long we have been dating. Nothing tricky. She was a little shocked with how little conjoint properties we have (we only had a lease) but she understood that we have only been married for a few months and everything takes time. I think as long as you are legitimate everything should just work out. My I130 was approved but I still need to mail in my EAD card once I receive it for I485 approval. It was "in production" during my interview time.

I want to thank VJ for helping me prepare for the application process and best of luck to everyone.

Hi all, I am late to joining the group. My husband and I filed paperwork to adjust status on May 15th. Its been 66 day since I started the process. Now waiting for Ead or Interview notice.

Alright People i want to Thank visa Journey and all your updates on this forum, i have been Watching the case updates on here and i am putting up my timeline as well, i guess it might help somebody out there.

Wanted to do this Earlier but i guess i had a lot going on but finally i find some relief so i can do this.

I guess my timeline is unique but from the Mailing to the Interview which was when i Held my EAD in hand was all in 80days.

Am guessing 90days to holding GC in my hand.

Your case was transferred to CSC which make me believe you're adjusting from a K1 visa. If that's correct, you may not have an interview and you may want to follow this thread for updates. Same scenario with ChT.
