Received this today by email & text----On July 3, 2012, we transferred this case I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS to another office for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action.

Wondering if this is a good thing :unsure:

It is both good and bad. Good in the sense that your application will be approved without having an interview at your local office but bad in that this route is currently taking longer process than the rest of your May filers.

Background Information

-Dec 2006: Arrived with an F1 visa

-Dec 2007: Met USC.

-Dec 2009: Got Engaged.

-Jan 2010: Fell out of Status.

-Oct 2010: Married USC.

-Feb 2012: Filed I-130/AOS

Hopefully you will get your interview notice as soon as they receive the RFE response. Expect good news next week; the Biometrics should have cleared already.

Hope so, Old_Dog. It would be great to get that EAD. Getting an interview notice will be a great day as well.

BTW, thanks for doing your summary posts showing everyone's progress. I find myself referring to it pretty often. It's a big help.

Interview on the 8th of August

All paper done by myself with the help of Google and YouTube good luck everyone

No reply with the work permit as yet but I'm hoping I would see it soon

We may have different backgrounds but we all share one thing on this immigration stuff -- wait wait wait. The wait is frustrating enough but I decided not to dwell on it everyday and enjoy other stuff instead. You're on first month of waiting for EAD I didn't hear anything til my 2nd month.

Our Bio appointment were scheduled for the same date June 15. I did an early walk in June 06th and my priority date is May 22. I hope I hear something soon.

Just wanna share my mom priority date may 11 she did early walk in bio on may 22 last update case transfer to CSC on June 1 and then case transfer to USCIS office on June 7 I guess that's when they receive the file until then nothing Ead nothing so now she's getting impatient she was hoping to at least have her EAD what else can I tell her to cheer her up?

Which visa is she changing status from? I have an earlier priority date but I have not received a EAD notification yet. Be patient, your EAD should be approved anytime now.

Day_79 07/23 Interview. Approved.

EADs are currently averaging around 60 days from acceptance to approval. You have only been waiting 33 days, so you are still well within the current average.
