Just got my all package back today.

They rejected it because I don't have the NOA for my I 130. I never received it and they told me before to send a print out of my case and a receciept number.

Now they are telling me to fill out I 824 and pay 405$ fee.

I don't have the money...

What can I do ?

1) Pay the fee.

2) Borrow the money to pay the fee.

3) Wait for the I-130 to be approved and then file the I-485.

Background Information

-Dec 2006: Arrived with an F1 visa

-Dec 2007: Met USC.

-Dec 2009: Got Engaged.

-Jan 2010: Fell out of Status.

-Oct 2010: Married USC.

-Feb 2012: Filed I-130/AOS

I-130/AOS Timeline

Day 0: 02/25/12: Mailed concurrent I-130/AOS Package to the Chicago Lockbox

Day 2: 02/27/12: Package arrived at the Chicago Lockbox.

Day 5: 03/01/12: Email acceptance confirmation received for Forms: I-130, I-485 & I-765.

Day 13: 03/09/12: NOA1s received for Forms: I-130, I-485 & I-765. Biometrics letter also received and scheduled for March 27th.

Day 24: 03/20/12: Email notification for RFE.

Day 27: 03/23/12: Hardcopy RFE received in the mail.

Day 31: 03/27/12: Biometrics completed.

Day 40: 04/05/12: Mailed off the RFE.

Day 44: 04/09/12: RFE Delivered.

Day 46: 04/11/12: USCIS received RFE and case updated online.

Day 55: 04/20/12: EAD approved!

Day 60: 04/25/12: Received 2nd "EAD in Production" Email.

Day 61: 04/26/12: EAD Mailed.

Day 63: 04/28/12: EAD in hand!

Day 74: 05/09/12: Interview date scheduled for June 12th.

Day 75: 05/10/12: Interview letter in hand.

Day 108: 06/12/12: Interview.

Day 110: 06/14/12: Received I-485 & I-130 approval emails.

Day 114: 06/18/12: Received I-130 & I-485 Approval hardcopies.

Day 115: 06/19/12: Received GC in production email.

Day 116: 06/20/12: Received "GC mailed" & "USPS picked up your GC" emails.

Day 118: 06/22/12: GC arrived in the mail

March 16th 2014: Eligible to file ROC.

March 16th 2015: Eligible to file for naturalization.

Received the update says they ordered production of my new card!!!

So excited !!

I guess early walk-in did help speed up my case since my original bio date is tomorrow :lol: :lol:

Can someone please shed some light on this my sister is petitioning for our mom case received on may 11 , may 16 transferred to NBC . May 21 NOA's and bio app. She did walk in on may 22 and then last Friday she received case transferred to another office but didn't say which. What does this mean no interview. Thanks in advance.

Day 1 - 05/11/12: Package delivered to Chicago Lockbox;

Day 6 - 05/16/12: NOA1 email/text notification;

Day 9 - 05/19/12: Hard copies of NOA received;

Day 13 - 05/23/12: ASC Appointment Notice (biometrics scheduled for 06/15/12);

I will try to do walk-in biometric at Kendall Miami office on Wednesday coz i dont know when my husband is gonna be coming home early from work next week. Hope it will be ok :blush:

May 21, 2012 (Day 0) - sent package via USPS express mail at 6:24pm

May 23, 2012 (Day 1) - received by John Chyba at 11:41am at Chicago FBASS address

May 30, 2012 (Day 7) - personal checks were cashed

May 31, 2012 (Day 8) - called up USCIS since checks were cashed and 4 case numbers were given

June 1, 2012 (Day 9) - received NOA for I-765 dated May 29, 2012 with error on address. Called up USCIS for correction

June 2, 2012 (Day 10)- received NOA for I-130, I-485 and I-131 dated May 29, 2012 with the correct address

June 4, 2012. (Day 12)- received biometrics appointment for June 14, 2012

June 12, 2012(Day 20)- walk-in biometrics (only 2 days in advance from original schedule)

How long did it took after bio?I am asking because my appoiment was for 6/6 but we decided to do a walk-in on 5/24( succefully) and we haven't seen any update in our status,.. Congrats hopefully status change sometime this week!

Day_07 05/11 Email notification & Text (case accepted on 05/08)

Day_12 05/16 3 NOA hardcopies

Day_17 05/21 Received biometrics appt (scheduled for 06/05)
