I was married by a judge. I should have asked for a jury.

Wow, I know how frustrated you are with the I-864, especially when you truly loved her. I think it depends on the immigrants if they want to threaten you about the Financial Support. I am a Conditional green card holder and will need to remove condition next year and my husband just filed for divorce. I knew about this I-864 thing :dancing: but I decided to not take advantage of it even though my husband abused me mentally and financially. Just feel uncomfortable getting money from someone else. I believe What goes around comes around so if your ex victimized you and is trying to get some of your $$$, she will pay the price some day. :bonk:

Why do you care? Other than theI-864 which obviously had no affect on your divorce, what difference does it make? Please, go ahead with your life and stop looking back, you will be much happier

In my opinion, the OP has a right to know, based on the fact that he was obviously conned into a false marriage and signed an I-864 on her behalf. If anything, he should at least have a right to know

Let it go. The wording of the divorce decree will have little if any impact on her petition.
