But the OP said he called and checked the status of his fingerprints with FBI, and was able to obtain a response, and I would like to do the same.

I did my Biometrics on friday morning and so far still no "touches" or updates on my portfolio online.

Hi Guys,

Update on my RFE: it was indeed for the 2011 tax return, since we didnt have it at the time we filed...I am SOOOO relieved because I was worried it would be the medical and I didnt want to lose $$$!!!! My husband is away for the week but we will send it asap. Still no biometrics appointment though....Our NOA is dated June 8th, so I guess I can call again when I send my RFE...

I am pretty sure they forgot to schedule the appointment, but whatever. Good luck to all of us!

Good for you and yup! It was almost certain that it was for that. I'm not sure about biometrics but wouldn't they schedule biometrics after the RFE is satisfied? Correct me if I'm wrong as I see on the vj timelines, RFE comes before biometrics, I would just assume that RFEs needs to be satisfied, then the biometrics appointment. This is just my view on it. I could be wrong.

Guys, did you all see a civil surgeon and submitted I-693 with you AOS application? I am worried about getting RFE because I only submitted DS-3025...

Me too as I've seen or heard some AOS applications were asked for I-693 even with DS-3025 but some of them only has the DS-3025 and got approved. Whatever the reasons are? Is uncertain. What I'm certain is that, it's clearly stated on the application instruction that fiancé's who had medical within one year need not fill I-693 or new medical and the DS form is sufficient but who knows on what USCIS would want.

I really hope that with us having the biometrics scheduled, RFEs at our back I surely hope this is the case

What I'm certain is that, it's clearly stated on the application instruction that fiancé's who had medical within one year need not fill I-693 or new medical and the DS form is sufficient but who knows on what USCIS would want.

You should be OK.. I checked AOS processing time for your area and it's 4months and usually they over deliver. By the way, mine was done just this year January 2012... But our AoS processing time is 7 months.

Since I received an RFE for the taxes and did only submit DS 3025 I can tell you i m almost certain you don't need to see a civil surgeon if you had your medical done in your home country before within a year of AOS. Don't worry! RFEs are not the end of the world its just delaying the whole thing, well of course if its the medical then you lose $$$ a lot of people got RFEs for the medical cos USCIS at the POE LOST it...

mmmh I hope you're right, because Ive seen people having their bio appointment no matter what and having RFE afterwards....but mine was INITIAL evidence so maybe they got ADDITIONAL evidence request i don't know. it says my application for I 765 is on hold until I send the RFE so maybe the bio appointment is on hold too. I also applied for advance parole, which I really need by the end of summer to visit my family and my Phd advisor in France haha.
