Im so dumb. I mailed my package with a confirmation delivery only. i should have mailed it with signature. well, according to d delivery conf# my package was delivered on 05/23/2012 (2 days after).

Did they cash your check already?

For those who sent their package at the end of April or early May, has anybody seen a "Touch" (a change of last updated) in their account?

Nothing on mine.

may 7 - mailed application

may 11 - email notification from immigration

may 14- checked cashed

may 17- hard copy noa rcvd for 1-13, ead and i-485

I hope its not the medical that got lost.. Also I thought RFE s and biometrics appointment had nothing to do with each other? I still didnt receive my appointment...

Geez, I don't understand why they are taking so long to schedule your biometrics appointment.

Is it possible for our medical records to get lost?

I just called up the USCIS to check if they can find my case online since my checks were cashed but no e-notification. The customer service was so nice that he searched for my case and gave me all my case numbers yeeeyyyy. I was informed that the letter of action was mailed on May 25th so it should probably be in the mail anytime soon. So i guess if you guys want to check and get your case numbers, try calling the USCIS hotline 1-800-375-5283 and they are so nice to assist you with any questions you may have. Its only been a week since i mailed my package. Hope this info helps others.

I had my biometrics done on 5/22 as a walk in (original date 6/06) called FBI next day and was advised that they were cleared and sent back to USCIS the same day but no updates yet. I'm hoping to see some progress soon though.

I'm not expecting one til after my biometrics because There won't be an update/"touch" on the case until after biometrics. That's when USCIS starts to process the rest of the applications

Ok I take back what I said because I received update on my I-485 today and my Biometrics schedule is next Monday.

i did they say not until after 30 days that you received noa hard copies.

Hi Guys,

Update on my RFE: it was indeed for the 2011 tax return, since we didnt have it at the time we filed...I am SOOOO relieved because I was worried it would be the medical and I didnt want to lose $$$!!!! My husband is away for the week but we will send it asap. Still no biometrics appointment though....Our NOA is dated June 8th, so I guess I can call again when I send my RFE...

I am pretty sure they forgot to schedule the appointment, but whatever. Good luck to all of us!

Is it necessary to call the FBI?

No. It is not necessary.

But the OP said he called and checked the status of his fingerprints with FBI, and was able to obtain a response, and I would like to do the same.

I did my Biometrics on friday morning and so far still no "touches" or updates on my portfolio online.
