Have you sent the form to have text/emails updates? I would say no because you would have receive them. But if they cashed the check, you should receive the NOA hardcopy very soon.

It was 6 Months from our transfer on December 6th. I contact both of my senators here in Georgia. One of them responded to me today, and they got a response from CSC that we should hear something in 45-60 days.

I hope you will, my friend. My first senator's aide contacted them on my behalf and got a response from that I should hear from them in 2 weeks. And it was like 5 weeks ago. I didn't hear from anybody. My second senator's aide contacted them again 2 weeks ago, and got an email from that I should receive a notification from them in 45 days. I hope the "notification" will not be "you should hear from us in 60 days", if I ever get a notification at all. By the way, I filed earlier than you.

Good luck. I had somewhat believed that the congressional aide's and senatorial aide's assistance helped speed up my case. Because a few weeks after they contacted the USCIS I got the notification that my application was approved. However, when I actually got the green card, I saw that the "resident since" date on the card was even one week before I contacted my congressman and senator! So obviously it was my own phone calls to the USCIS that helped, or the USCIS employees just happened to do their job.

Im still waiting :( Getting worried. So I come on here to calm myself down, there's so many of us that's on the same boat, I should make that phone call myself. I want to visit Sweden in the summer, and my EAD expires in July...*sigh* I'm already preparing to apply for an AP and to the thought of possibly renewing my working permit.

I finally received the good news from the blackhole..CSC...... Got approved Jan 5th., 2013

Congrats!! I hope that's good news for those of us who were transferred around the same time.

Our application was received on June 19th and last touched on July 15th. We're putting in a service request today.

Just got this reply from my service request.......

"Hello,

This notice acknowledges receipt of your status inquiry concerning your pending I-485 application. We recognize your interest in a final adjudication on your pending application and are aware of the difficulties caused by any delay in processing. The California Service Center is committed to processing this workload, and will be making every effort to adjudicate your case in an expeditious fashion as soon as available under our resource constraints.

Thank you and have a great day!"

9.5 months since filing, transfer to CSC, finally got email today that the case is approved.

Did call to open a Service request a month ago and was told you can't open a service request. Status says that you should just wait - they are just busy.

Was getting ready to go the congressmen route next week but I am glad we didn't have to do that.

Good luck to all those that are waiting. There may just be light at the end of the tunnel yet.

I received this e-mail too Widsy. I was so frustrated and almost tried contacting the senator or congressman but yesterday I received an approval notification. That's seven weeks after I placed the service request. Hopefully, you will hear from them soon.
