Question about RFE and vj terms

Today I received a text msg and an alert from my USCIS app stating they sent me a letter requesting evidence and/or info (Praising God bc its better than a denial). My question is do they ever request tax returns im hoping its sumthing simple like that. Im anxiously waiting to get the letter to see what they need. The next question is what I received today would that be considered as being (touched). How do I get our journey attached to each post I make. Thanks in advance for all answers and comments.

Yes your email alert could be considered a "touch" but a "touch" simply means the date has changed on the tracking. Don't worry about it really.

Yes they can ask for tax returns. IRS transcripts are better.
