THIS IS WHAT THE WEBSITE SAID FEW MIN AGO WHEN I CHECKED IT. SO IS IT TIME ?????????? OUR AP IS OVER?? HE GETS HIS VISA NOW?

You or another trusted person may bring your passports to the Embassy in Abu Dhabi any Sunday or Tuesday at 1:30 p.m., excluding holidays. In most cases, the visa will be ready for pick-up in 4 to 7 days. Embassy staff will provide further details when you drop off your passport(s). The administrative processing on your file has been completed. However, a visa number may not be available for your file within this month.

Wedding Date: 12/27/11

Sent AOS: 4/21/12
NOA1: 4/30/12
RFE: 5/14/12
Biometrics App.: 5/21/12
Sent RFE Response: 5/31/12
Interview: 7/24/12
Approval: 10/12/12

Currently.... they have issued Ice the incorrect GC and we have tried 4 times to fix it. First time they had us send it to the incorrect address. Second time they said we used an expired form, which was the form they gave us. Third time was "oh sorry we lost the last page, can you send it again?." Fourth time is the gov is shut down. Will this ever be corrected in time for Ice to get the permanent GC? Stay tuned to find out. T_T

CONGRATULATIONS!!! how long were you in AP? That is where we are, so encouraging to see others making their way through the journey successfully.

In AP 5 days shy of 2 months and thanks!!! =] i wish you speedy AP..this site and these people on here are so kind and helpful with me and so many ..im so happy i found it and will stay to keep updated and see how my friends AP come out and be here for them too.

August 8, 2011: NVC received file
September 1, 2011: NVC case number assigned
September 2, 2011: AOS invoice received, OPTIN email for EP sent
September 7, 2011: Paid AOS bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 9, 2011)
September 8, 2011: OPTIN email accepted, GZO number assigned
September 10, 2011: Emailed AOS package
September 12, 2011: IV bill invoiced
September 13, 2011: Paid IV bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 14, 2011)
September 14, 2011: Emailed IV package
October 3, 2011: Emailed checklist response (checklist generated due to typo on Form DS-230)
October 6, 2011: Case complete at NVC
November 10, 2011: Interview - APPROVED!!!
December 7, 2011: POE - Sea-Tac Airport

September 17, 2013: Mailed I-751 to CSC

September 23, 2013: Received NOA1 in mail (receipt date September 19th)

October 16, 2013: Biometrics Appointment

January 28, 2014: Production of new Green Card ordered

February 3, 2014: New Green Card received; done with USCIS until fall of 2023*

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal

That is good, glad it was a short AP. It makes me so so so happy to hear how you will be able to be with your loved one. 1 day is too long to be away and happy your patience has now been rewarded. Hope to follow in the similar footsteps soon. We are anxiously awaiting the phone call letting us know AP is complete. The best to you both.
