Wow...mubarak/congratulations on finally getting approved!! Extremely happy for the both of you.

Its been exactly a month since our interview - and the case status was finally posted last week as well. Inshallah things will start moving along and ours will get approved soon too. Start looking at tickets!

THANK YOU!!! ahhhhhhhhhhhh it is unbelievable! I hope it ends soon for you too, just keep hanging in there and if you have any questions let me know i can tell you what all we did. we will be more excited once he has it in his hand, and through the POE.

Sept 30, 2011 NVC number and IIN received Friday-gotta wait till Monday

Oct 13, 2011 Case Completed- 13 days from receiving case number Took 32 days from NOA2

Nov 30, 2011 Notified of Interview date

January 19, 2012 Interview- 240 days from NOA1

INTERVIEW RESULTS-APPROVED WITH 14 WEEKS AP--but he got his visa in 56 days!!!!!!

PLEASE EDIT YOUR TIMELINE IN YOUR PROFILE SO OTHERS CAN LEARN HOW LONG EACH STEP TAKES IN THIS PROCESS

Email says that you have to have hand over your passport in order to avoid further delay. At the moment/current month, they are out of quota but if you submit your passport, they will assign appropriate priority.

when i called the DOS they told me he does not have to wait for a number he is a spouse of us citizen he already has a number..she told me he needs to take the passport and let them stamp it and will get it in like 1-2 weeks or less..and told me congratulations, but she could not tell me visa is ready for issuance because they can not say that until he has the visa. so according to DOS he is still in AP, but they have the update his visa is ready to be issued..im happy she said we dont have to wait for a number he has one.

he will take asap. thanks for the warm wishes =]

Yeah, for the spouse of US citizen, there is no visa limit. they have to have issue visa. I was literally translating the email message. :innocent:

anyways, it is time of celebration. lots of Mabrook to you and your spouse.
