Out dated forms

Hi we got packet 3 last week and the I864 and I864A are the old forms that you still have to get notarized and the I864A still says your household member has to live with you for 6 months which mine hasn't. Should I use the old forms they gave me with the new rules or download the new forms?

It is always best to use the newest forms.

Also note about the newest forms:

OMB No. 1615-0075; Expires 09/30/06 is NOT when the form expires. That's when the OMB approval they gave USCIS to collect the information expires. The form is good until USCIS says not to use that version any longer.

Thanks. I heard that Montreal was picky about using the forms they send but they are the old ones. The ones on the USCIS website are different and i was wanting to use those so I can type the info in instead of printing it.

I was questioning using the new forms too. I already got my joint sponsor to fill out the *new* I864 and I wanted to make sure I didn't have to spend the time mailing him Montreal's old forms when they get here. I think I remember someone going to the interview with old AND new one filled out and the clerk didn't seem to lean towards the old. With all the new changes they've got to know people are going to want to use the ones that don't take notarizing!
