Today was my interview in Baltimore-MD

I got there at 10:00. My interview it was set for 11:00. I went through security without waiting and went straight for the reception to check in.

Around 10:15 she called me and introduced as the person conducting my interview. My lawyer wasn't there yet so I went inside alone. She was really nice and we started talking about my trip to Korea and she sworn me in.

The questions she asked was:

-where and when we met?

-When we met in person?

-Do you have your tickets already? Can I have the copy?

So she started talking about Korea and asked me if I had something else to add. I opened the binder and told her about the extra documentation. She said she didn't need any of it because I had more than enough. I asked her about the pictures, she said she had on file so I was fine. I told her to look at my album anyway and she laughed and looked at it.

After that she approved me and did the yes and no questions and took me to get the I551(the stamp) on my passport so I could go to Korea without worries. She wished me a great trip and said to my lawyer(who showed up in the end) that if she had more interviews like that her job would be the best job ever because I was very organized!

Now OFF to Korea to see my Hubby!!!! :D

Congratulations on a smooth interview.

I'm wondering if it was you who were well organized or did your lawyer help you get so well organized that way?

I ask because I don't have much faith in lawyers having heard too many horror stories about them.

Having said that, however, I did have a fantastic lawyer when I went through all my green card process. We couldn't have done it without her so some lawyers are a Godsend.

I didn't get a lawyer for my Naturalization process as it's so much easier than Green Card processes.

It was all me. My lawyer was amazing! I can't Thank him enough! But I organized everything and he looked at what I had and said it was great. He thought i would feel more comfortable preparing my own paperwork so I would know exactly where everything was. :)
