I just checked and they updated their processing times again, hoorah! This time it says they are processing I-751 VSC cases as of July 4, 2011. Much better than their previous post of May 2011. I suppose they either fixed their mistake or are picking up speed. A bit of good news!

AOS

09/21/08- Phil arrives in US

08/15/09- Wedding

10/16/09- Mailed out AOS package

01/14/10- Interview completed - Approved!

01/23/10- Conditional Green Card received!

ROC

10/17/11- Mailed ROC package

10/19/11- Package arrives at VSC

10/20/11- NOA1 issued

10/24/11- "Touch"

10/24/11- Check cashed

10/26/11- NOA1 received

11/23/11- Biometrics appointment

01/14/12- Conditional GC Expired

07/17/12- Approved! - Notification of card production

thanks for sharing...it just seem that they fixed their mistake knowing that over 70% of july filers on this site have been approved!

which is interesting is this:

"Field Office Processing Dates for Vermont Service Center as of: February 29, 2012"

which is the same date as before!!

I wish they were faster though! :whistle: At this pace, it looks like I might hear about a decision sometimes in November, if I'm lucky enough. Heck, a couple of March 2011 filers are still waiting for a decision! :unsure:

that is the truth..I am a september filer and still waiting...so are people from august!!

I hope it comes a little sooner than that :angry: We are traveling July 26-August 5, but with the one year extension letter we should be fine, right? (His gc originally expired November 20-something)

Citizenship Process

02.01.17 - put in line for interview

03.15.17 - scheduled for an interview on 04.21.17, had to write a letter asking for a reschedule because we will be out of the country

03.31.17 - scheduled for an interview again

05.09.17 - Interview!

Yeah you'll be fine with the extension letter. We are traveling to Canada in August for a friend's wedding with the expired GC and extension letter. I've read that if you get an officer who doesn't know what it is, ask to speak with a manager or someone else because it is a legitimate way to travel.

Yeah you'll be fine with the extension letter. We are traveling to Canada in August for a friend's wedding with the expired GC and extension letter. I've read that if you get an officer who doesn't know what it is, ask to speak with a manager or someone else because it is a legitimate way to travel.

Agreed. We did a multi-country Caribbean cruise in February and at the re-entry point they didn't blink an eye at the letter. You are good to go.

Maybe you do not have to travel with NOA, you might have a shot to receive 10-year GC before your trip. In either situations, you will be fine.
