Thanks, I was just wondering, because my status change this Monday the 10th and I haven't receive anything not even the yellow letter some people receive before interview letter

interview letter, i do not know. but, the very first notice in this process arrived after four days. hence, expect to receive it today or tomorrow (USPS it is called "snail mail" for a reason heheeee).

:goofy: Thanks! The lady that held the oath ceremony told us that usually they have 10 people a day in the oath ceremony (which I thought was quite a small amount since it was Atlanta and they have plenty of seats in the ceremony room) but that on 9/11 they had 35. I told my husband to make sure he asked during his interview if he could have his ceremony the same day since we drove so far but I guess that is something they always do so the officer told Keith before Keith even asked about it.

I think we had been in line since July 17th and then got the appointment letter on August 11th, exactly one month before the interview date, so you may be receiving your letter any day I would suspect. My husband was here nearly 7 years before he applied so didn't have to bring all the marriage-based information either. Good luck! :goofy:

I applied about a month after your husband. (6/29, PD 7/3). In line since 7/30, I did early biometrics on 7/26. The first part flies by. The interval between in line and interview... like watching paint dry. If he got his IL on 8/11, theoretically I could get mine any day now (or it might take another 2 months LOL!)

Wish I'd just get the letter, it would put me out of my misery - even if the interview is a month away.

My biggest concern is getting it done by the end of the year (I gave up on being able to vote, some weeks ago). My driver's license expires when my GC expires, on 1/3/13. I applied with just over 6 months left on the GC which means I shouldn't have had to renew it, but if it expires, I can get a new DL (my most recent DL was issued for 5 months - til my legal status expires). THAT will be a problem if things draw out that long. If November rolls around with no movement, I'll be booking an infopass. For now... I just sit tight and wait.

Oh my goodness..it seems that NYC waits for files to stack up for a while in the national center. And later everyone gets schedule for appointments in the same time frame

please update my status... letter received 8/30 interview 9/18/12 and oath (9/28/12) for those here in NYC after the interview if passed you can get alt letter for oath for 10-15 days later but WAIT time is 4-5 hours. Other option is to get letter in mail but they said 45 days minimum so it is worth the 5 hr wait.

6 questions asked most were the easy one like state that borded with mexico or canada and who is the Senator of your State, i think the main thing is that u need to understang english at lease a little and just be patient and it should be an east 15 minute.
