I have an elderly person who will like to bring two of her children to the states (but they are all in their 30's and 40's. She is a U.S citizen through her daughter. Is this possibly and under what visa?

It is possible to petition for them, but it will take a few years. First, are the children married? If they are married they are F3 category. If not married, they are F1 category.

The time starts running once the I-130s are received. Currently it takes about 6-7 years for F1 and I think 8-9 for F3. The sooner the parent files for them, the better. Also, since the petitioner is an elderly parent, I would suggest the daughter files as well for them in F4 category (siblings) as a back-up (F4 currently takes 10 years).

PS. The previous times change if they are from an oversubscribed country (Mexico, Philippines)
