Hi all...I know in the past I have read when people get case complete at the NVC they can no longer log into the portal for the NVC. We got case complete last Wednesday but I can still log into the portal. Is this because our case is electronic and our case is forwarded to the embassy electronically?? When i called the NVC last week to find out when out interview is they said it could be a few weeks before it gets scheduled ..should I keep calling them anyway to see if they have scheduled it?

They changed it months and months ago where you can still log into the payment portal after case complete.

Even for me, completed with NVC more than a year ago, I can still log in

And yes, you should be calling every single day for an interview date. Good luck!

You can start calling DOS now to find out about the interview. A lot of people can still sign in to the portal, its just a glitch in there system.

OK another question, how will I know when our case was forwarded to the consulate as our case is electronic and there is no DHL number to track?

Cases are only sent after an interview date is assigned. You call up NVC and ask what date the case was sent out.

Even though your NVC case is sent electronically, there's still your USCIS package (I-130) that needs to be sent. Not sure if they scan and send this digitally or mail it out though.

Quick question. I've paid both fees on friday and today my bank posted ACH Processing for both payment. NVC show "In Process". I've printed both cover sheet on friday when i made payment. Should i wait payment to appear as "Paid" or can i send it now since i've both cover sheets.

Geez, called the DOS and they said it will be 1-2 months before interview is scheduled? I HOPE they don't know what they are talking about...this is frustrating. I thought it was supposed to be scheduled in a few days after case being closed.

Some ppl speculate that when you missed the "15th" time slot for CC you wont be scheduled until the following month. I don't know how true that is and depending on your embassy there dates might have all been taken as well. But you might get a July date, it depends on your embassy.
