Sorry if I'm double posting but someone suggested I ask here:

We are in the last stages of NVC, just paid the IV fee today, and hopefully will then be able to email out the DS-260 document packets Monday/Tuesday and should hope to have an interview scheduled by the end of May.

How early can my spouse schedule the Medical Exam? We're expecting the interview to probably be scheduled sometime in July, however my wife has a really busy late June schedule, and so she wanted to know if she can schedule the medical now in early June. Is it ok if her medical is 4-6 weeks (estimating here) before the Interview date?

The thing about Canada is, you need the interview letter before scheduling a medical. So, until then, your spouse won't be able to get a medical booked.

And the time frame (4-6 weeks) before the interview is no problem. I had my medical done in Montreal a whole month before my interview. No problems whatsoever. I actually recommend doing it earlier in case there's any issues at the medical that need to be resolved before the interview.

No, they will NOT keep your original vaccination record. They do NOT do that. They return it back to you. Do not stress about this.

Saylin Hubby is comming back from Virginia to toronto tomorrow morning for joining me to the interview and medical.So i will be disappear for 2 weeks until my interview. But i will let you know my status of progress whenever i get chance.

Alright, if you marked yes, then I don't recommend you go. Wait the 3 weeks. If you go the day after POE for example, two scenarios can happen: you won't be in the system yet so they won't be able to give you one or you'll be allowed, but you run the chance then of getting two SSNs, which will cause problems. Just wait the 3 weeks out. Who knows, you might even get it in the mail!

And you should hear early next week about your AOS package

It actually was! The bill was invoiced today and I also paid it today. Yayyyy. When it shows as paid… I will mail the IV package.
