Hey Guys,

Happy Thursday or Terrific Thursday as my friend would say. Do you guys know by when i should start calling and asking about interview date? Just got case close yesterday. Should i wait to call DOS next week??

I got my case closed yesterdy and got my interview date today when i called the NVC.

Green Card issued 9/28/2014 after filing I-601 Wavier

Removal of Conditions
6/6/2014 - Meeting with Lawyer to start process
7/15/2014 - ROC mailed
7/24/2014 - Received at USCIS
8/11/2014 - Biometric appointment notice received
8/18/2014 - Biometric appointment

I called NVC (on hold for 45 mins) They said that they approved my AOS on the 8th, but dont see anything concerning my IV packet. USPS confims that it arrived at NVC on Wed 9th, probably they just didnt scann it in the system. oh well next week id hear something good. Told ya'll if i call them id jinks myself lolll.

So I called DOS--- lets just say I have to call back to get another person, cause i think she looked up a case that wasn't mine, this showed when she called me ALISHA????/ Who the hell is that...lol. Didnt know DOS would be worst than NVC @least they got my name and info correctly.

45mins hold???? That's crazy, I don't have that patience. I would have hung up and call back later. 15mins is the maximum i will wait. Next time you call you might get a case complete. When i called Tuesday they told me they didn't receive my package as yet. When I called back yesterday I heard that my case was completed. So i'm sure its under review. Call back later tonight

So I check CEAC every hour or so, just to see if my IV bill is invoiced yet, and finally today it will let me click on "Pay". But when I do, all of the original information on the payment portal are gone. It's just blank...

Is this just an error that means that they're working to get my invoice up?

Wooohoo! I'm excited! At least there's some progress being made! :whistle:

As good as that sound I think u were just lucky. I'd be patient I'm in no hurry as of this moment. But I'd still try to call tomrw.

I just checked mine and the same thing happened. The summary page shows the IV bill is ready to be paid, but when I click on "Pay", it goes to the invoice page and it's not available to pay. No little box to check to proceed with the payment. Hopefully the invoice will actually be there for us soon!! :yes:

The operators don't see packages as received until the review has actually started. I suggest calling late tomorrow night right before they close for the weekend. I bet you're going to get EXCELLENT news yes.gif

That will be nice :star: . Im in no rush right now, Im willing to give them 2 weeks to review it (look at me sounding like i have a choice loll) but Id like to know my interview date by the end of this month. ONLY because my hubby is geting really depressed n frustrated there, not with the process (thats my job) but his job, income and life stlye. Yesterday i spend 45 mins on the phone with him cheering him up, it's so hard to do being so far away, throught out the day i text him poems all day just to distract him from his environment. I think he'd start to feel a whole lot better when we get n interview date. So the satisfaction of the interview date is more for him than me, he'd be happy and id be in panic mood (i just naturally like to panic loll) I'd call NVC tomorw at 11pm.

ps maybe next week you can put me on ur sheet in the CC section (big smile)

Just to make sure, you're using IE, correct? I know some other browsers work, some of the times, but to guarantee anything with the payment portal, you should be using IE.

If you are, or you've tried and get the same results, then yeah, it's an indication that they're currently invoicing your IV bill. Just sit tight and wait :)

I am also using IE to check the payment portal. :yes: I primarily use Firefox, but know that to make sure things are correct with the payment portal, I use IE.

That will be nice :star: . Im in no rush right now, Im willing to give them 2 weeks to review it (look at me sounding like i have a choice loll) but Id like to know my interview date by the end of this month. ONLY because my hubby is geting really depressed n frustrated there, not with the process (thats my job) but his job, income and life stlye. Yesterday i spend 45 mins on the phone with him cheering him up, it's so hard to do being so far away, throught out the day i text him poems all day just to distract him from his environment. I think he'd start to feel a whole lot better when we get n interview date. So the satisfaction of the interview date is more for him than me, he'd be happy and id be in panic mood (i just naturally like to panic loll) I'd call NVC tomorw at 11pm.

ps maybe next week you can put me on ur sheet in the CC section (big smile)
