my case is electronic so there is no dhl tracking number

Even though your case is electronic, I do believe they still mail the package from USCIS (I-130). When I was going through NVC, I found a package heading to Montreal, even though I did EP. There's obviously no guarantee my package was in there, but I'd like to think so.

Had my husband call. My MagicJack's no good at this time - slow internet connection coz it's raining. The operator said it's okay now, and that they have accepted it. I would like to receive an acceptance e-mail though. Does it matter that we haven't received one for our daughter's case? :D

The ultimate way to know it was accepted (since you probably won't receive an acceptance email) is that the IV bill will be invoiced for both of you. So just sit tight for now and keep an eye on the payment portal.

Yes, NVC has both of our e-mail addresses and we've received other documentation (Info pack with Case #, IIN, BIN, etc. and the AOS bill instructions and invoice).

I did resubmit the DS-261, but myself as the agent, not my Hubby (who is the petitioner). Will this matter? Good Lord! Such a simple error on my part that MAY (or may not) be causing this delay and now I may have made another one.

Let's hope resubmitting it and checking yes this time will make a difference. Although I still wouldn't understand that THAT would have been causing the issue. But like I said, I'm not surprised by NVC anymore.

Saylin i called DOS today and they told me the Embassy has not received it yet. Can i call today again or given them this week and start calling monday? By the way, next week i will make my medical, i have not chosen the day yet

I'd wait again until tomorrow before calling DOS up again. Don't stress about this though. If NVC has told you they sent the case, all will be well. They make be taking longer to input cases in their system.

I'd suggest scheduling an appointment with the panel physician pronto. Who knows how booked they are and your interview is next month.

if it;s electronic how do i get the shipping info? If i call the NVC will they know perhaps? And for my ds 260 package I sent a photocopy of our marriage contract(that is what is required from the amman consulate as opposed to a marriage certificate), I got an RFE from the NVC to send the original copy, they would not complete my case until I sent it...

You just have to call up NVC and ask what date your case was sent out. But this will NOT happen until an interview date has been assigned. So don't bother asking now as your case is still at NVC and will be until after an interview date is scheduled.

And that checklist is wrong since you're doing EP. Both packages (AOS and IV) have to be brought as the original to the interview.

I'm flying to Amman for the interview and delivering the AOS and IV packets myself. Number one the mail system in Jordan is so unpredictable, even when sending by UPS or DHL or Fedex..I just don;t trust it, and number 2 I am dying to see my husband again..so it's a win win...lol kicking.gif

Do you guys know for the DHL tracking, if packages get sent out in bulk? Is the number of pieces that they describe equal the number of cases or just 1 piece sent that can contain many cases?

Yeah, if you're going to see your husband and flying there, definitely bring the original packages with you. This will probably save you a lot of stress if you had to mail packages. Just a note, do NOT pack those documents in your checked baggages. Make sure they are on you at ALL times.

Do you guys know for the DHL tracking, if packages get sent out in bulk? Is the number of pieces that they describe equal the number of cases or just 1 piece sent that can contain many cases?

Yes, packages definitely get sent out in bulk. It'd only make sense. So, when you see just '1 piece', it means just 1 package, but there could be hundreds and hundreds of people's cases inside.

And NVC usually sends out the case the day or two after an interview date has been assigned. Although, it could take up to a week. Just call once a day to find out. And the operator is right though, no need to be stressed about your case being sent out. They always ship it out so it has enough time to get there before your interview.

Well, fingers crossed that we'll both be invoiced soon. :) Still happy though that they responded only 3 days after I sent our DS-3032's. Wasn't expecting it until next week. :D

Perhaps NVC is speeding up on responding to emails ;)
