well I called to see if they had received my packages and i was told that my case is close and waiting on the embassy now to schedule the interview. So i asked does that mean my case is closed and she said yes. I thought it was super fast as well. Probably i will get a June interview. I'm hoping for one.

OHHH that's some sweet luck. I'd call today n ask if they got mine ;)

Quick question: both bills are paid and my whole package is ready to send with the exception of an original copy of my marriage certificate. Do you think I can send the packages with a note explaining the marriage certificate situation and promise to bring it with me to the interview when the replacement arrives? I have a copy of the original that I can include in the packet.

If you don't think I should send them but wait for the original, do you think I should send out the AOS package now and then the DS 230 when the certificate arrives? I really want to know what the impact will be if I send the DS230 with only a copy of the marriage cert?

Any thoughts?

Good morning guys, day 24 in NVC n I'm feeling good. Hope to get a case complete while NVC seems to be cracking down their load but I'm in no rush.... I hope when it comes to the interview it will be as easy as wen I did my citizenship. I tend to get over anxious till I feel sick.

the NVC will not complete your case and forward it to the consulate without a copy of the the original marriage certificate. there are no exceptions...

I just got off the phone with the NVC, my husband's interview is on June 6th in Juarez.

Green Card issued 9/28/2014 after filing I-601 Wavier

Removal of Conditions
6/6/2014 - Meeting with Lawyer to start process
7/15/2014 - ROC mailed
7/24/2014 - Received at USCIS
8/11/2014 - Biometric appointment notice received
8/18/2014 - Biometric appointment

10/24/2014 - ROC Approved!
